Fighting Irish Girls’ Lacrosse Quartet Garners All-CHSL Honors

Four members of the Central Catholic girls’ lacrosse team garnered All-CHSL honors, the Catholic High School League recently announced.

Two Fighting Irish also collected All-League accolades.  They included senior Addison Winkler and sophomore Brielle Elam.  A captain, Winker paced the squad in ground balls (33) and caused turnovers (24), along with finishing 3rd in goals (4).  Elam led CCHS in goals (46), as well as placing 2nd in ground balls (28), and tied for 2nd in caused turnovers (10).

In addition, senior Jazmin Hernandez was tabbed to the All-Academic squad.  A captain, Hernandez graduated with a 4.55 grade-point average.

The duo of Marsh and Winkler are earning all-conference honors for the 3rd-straight year.  A season ago, they received All-Catholic accolades.
