Scarlet & Gray Duo Earns All-Northwest District Accolades
A pair of Central Catholic softball players have been touted for their performances on the diamond with Division III All-Northwest District accolades.
Junior Makenzie Coleman was named 2nd-team all-district, and junior Alexis Rayfield garnered honorable mention laurels.
Coleman batted a team-high .522 (47-for-90) with 33 runs scored, 2 home runs, and 40 RBI, while Rayfield hit .424 (25-for-59) with 20 runs scored, 7 RBI, and 12 stolen bases.
This past spring, CCHS won the CHSL Cardinal Division Championship for a 2nd-consecutive season, finishing with a 19-10 overall record.
Coleman is collecting all-district recognition for a 3rd-straight year. She received 2nd-team honors a season ago and was chosen honorable mention in 2023.
