Lily Stasa Tabbed Student of the Month for May
Sophomore Lily Stasa is a member of the National Honor Society and the Insignis Society. She is an Irish Ambassador, and she participates in the Drama Club, Ambassadors for Life, and varsity lacrosse.
Outside of school, Lily is involved with St. Joseph Maumee’s middle school youth program. She leads groups and helps plan activities for their meetings, which take place every other week.
“I chose to attend Central Catholic because the number of opportunities provided is incredible, and because of the love and support from teachers, staff, and classmates that is found here on Cherry Street,” Lily said. “Central Catholic is an amazing community that feels like a family that cares about you and your academic career, but also your personal life.”
“Not only has Lily demonstrated exceptional skill in learning a new language, but she has also proven herself to be someone who genuinely connects with others, offering empathy and understanding that makes those around her feel appreciated and supported,” said Spanish teacher Claribel Timmins.
After high school, Lily hopes to attend The Ohio State University to get a degree in sports medicine or physical therapy.
