Dominic Spinazze II Chosen Student of the Month for April

Senior Dominic Spinazze II is a member of the National Honor Society, the Insignis Society, IrishTHON Core Team, and Sideline Spirit Core Team.  He is an Irish Ambassador, freshman and sophomore retreat leader, Kairos Retreat leader, and he was a captain for the Fighting Irish football and basketball teams.  Outside of school, he is a member of Saint Joan of Arc Parish.  He also works at Urban Air and does lawn maintenance and yard work.

“I choose Central Catholic because of my strong family traditions here,” Dominic said.  “It started with my grandparents, followed by my aunts and uncles, then cousins and siblings, and lastly me.  My favorite thing about Central Catholic is all the people I have met from all walks of life that I would never meet anywhere else.  I’m glad to say the people I have met here are truly my family.  Central Catholic has also given me the opportunity to become a leader.  Through many different sports and clubs, it has given me the ability to step up and sharpen my leadership skills.”

"Dominic is so deserving of the Student of the Month title, and he truly embodies what it means to be a Central Catholic student,” said social studies teacher, Mallory Lenhart.  “As a student, he thinks critically and approaches his education with a growth mindset.  As a person and a leader of the senior class, he is a positive force in the school, possesses an incredibly admirable amount of integrity, and isn't afraid to do hard things.  He truly has a heart of gold and a sense of humor that brightens everyone's day!”

Dominic will be attending Hillsdale College.  His major is currently undecided, but he plans to pursue something in the business field.
