Isaiah Mack-Russell Selected Honorable Mention All-Ohio

Central Catholic boys’ basketball player Isaiah Mack-Russell recently garnered Honorable Mention All-Ohio Division II recognition, according to the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.

The OPSWA was created in 1972 to support, promote, and recognize coverage of high school sports across Ohio and is endorsed by the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

Mack-Russell averaged a team-high 15.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and a squad-best 26.7 minutes per game.  He shot 47.9 percent (146-of-305) from the field and 74.1 percent (86-of-116) from the charity stripe.  The 6-foot-3 freshman wing scored at least 10 points on a team-high 21 occasions, including a season-best 29 points twice.

Mack-Russell helped the Scarlet & Gray win its 3rd district title in the last 4 years during the recently completed 2023-24 season.
