Levelle Stokes Selected Student of the Month for May

Junior Levelle Stokes is on the honor roll and is a member of the back-to-back state champion Fighting Irish football team.  He attends St. Catherine of Siena Parish, and he has 2 sisters, ages 15 and 2.

“I wanted to come to Central Catholic to play football, but also to strengthen my faith,” said Levelle, who totaled 8 receptions for 158 yards and 1 TD this past fall.  “CCHS has helped me grow in my faith and have a better understanding of God.  I also feel very accepted by everyone at Central Catholic.  I’ve made good friends, and the teachers and staff are great.”  

“Levelle is an incredible student, leader, and friend,” said Theology teacher Paul Devine.  “I have seen him engage with difficult material without giving up.  He has always been a steady presence during class discussions, and he leads the students around him in a quiet but powerful way.  I appreciate his willingness to push himself and be pushed by others.”

After he graduates from Central Catholic, Levelle would like to major in mechanical engineering and play football in college.
